I understood that there is no compulsion for a CEO to possess every skill.

Each person has unique qualities, and it’s crucial to identify these skills and place individuals in roles where they can contribute to the company’s progress.

I want to share my personal experience as a CEO of a company.

Eventually, when Piccosoft transformed from a startup to a scale-up stage, I began to see things differently. I realized that time is more valuable than money because

“You Can’t Buy Time. But , You Can Save Time”

For example, if we’re not good at writing emails to customers, why spend time learning how to write good emails? Instead, hire someone who has adept writing skills.

Similarly, you may be good at designing and development. You may also be passionate about it and love doing it. But you cannot waste time on these tasks. Instead, train others in Figma or AWS, and they can save your time. People can learn how to use these tools.

At the same time, there are some unique qualities that a company CEO should have. These skills may not be everybody’s cup of tea.

What are those skills?

CEOs have to be visionaries. We need to delve into our unique qualities and more focus on our strengths and core skills, such as strategy, vision, goals, new ideas, and planning. These skills cannot be taught to others, nor can you expect others to have them. So, focus on honing these areas instead of spending time on skills that others can handle.

❤️ Reflecting on my own journey, I remember the startup stage when my team was small, with around 5 to 10 members. At these stages, CEOs generally wear multiple hats and take on various responsibilities to cut costs and save money. Even if we could not execute everything perfectly, we somehow got it done.

It hit me that instead of spending my time learning skills that others could do, I should invest money in hiring people with the right skills and place them in various roles within the company. By doing this, I found that the people I chose saved my valuable time, which I could then dedicate to innovations and long-term strategic planning.

Therefore, I believe it’s important to i̳d̳e̳n̳t̳i̳f̳y̳ ̳p̳e̳o̳p̳l̳e̳ ̳w̳h̳o̳ ̳c̳a̳n̳ ̳h̳e̳l̳p̳ ̳s̳a̳v̳e̳ ̳y̳o̳u̳r̳ ̳t̳i̳m̳e̳ because they will help speed up your journey and enable you to reach your goals faster. 🔥
